Personally, I think your height and wingspan is quite suitable for you to play at the center in Europe. But you always say that I want to be in NBA.
“I don’t know. I guess you just said I’m a good basketball player. I work hard and have great coaches. It’s just about getting better in the process. It’s kinda like a novelty for me to be in this position right now. Last year, my focus was on going back to the NBA and I didn’t have as much fun as I should’ve. This year, the focus is on getting better – and I know throughout the course I’ll get better – and enjoying basketball, having fun.”
I gotta ask this: As an Ohio native, would you like to play for the Cavaliers?
“Sure, that wouldn’t be bad at all. It’s close to home so my mom could be at every game, which will be great. Yeah, I’m from Ohio but I haven’t been in Cleveland that many times, only once or twice; I’m thankful for it. But it’s close to home and family and friends could come so that wouldn’t be a bad place at all.”
