How was the preparations for you and your team? What can you say about the exhibition games and preparation round…
I think that everything went well. We worked very hard and I think we are ready. We had a lot of games and we got in shape.
What’s Serbia’s target in tournament? How far do you think you can go?
Our target is to play hard and fast basketball and of course, first target is to pass the group. After that, everything is possible.
You have pretty tough group with hosts Spain, last Eurobasket champ France and also a team coached by ex-Yugo coach, Memi Becirovic’s Iran, looking for a 4th spot. What can you say about the group? Hows ur chances….
Yes, the group is very tough and what I said our goal is to pass the group, I think that we have quality and talent to do that.
Who are the favorites of the tournament?
The two biggest favorites are USA and Spain, and after that there are a lot of teams that going to be in the mix for medal.
Do you think Micov’s situation will affect the team in bad way? What can you say about coach Djordevic?
He is a very passionate and very competitive coach like he was as a player. Working with coach Djordjevic is great experience for team and especially for me, because he was playing PG like me. He helps me with advice and I am glad that I have chance to work with him.
