DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell basketbol kariyerini Denver Nuggets’ta sürdürecek.
Chris Dempsey’nin iddiasına göre DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell ile Denver Nuggets çift yönlü kontrat imzalama hususunda anlaşmaya vardı.
Son iki senesini Danimarka Basketbol Ligi’nde Bakken Bears çatısı altında geçiren şutör gard/kısa forvet, ligde geçtiğimiz sezonu 17,3 sayı, 4,9 ribaund ve 3,8 asist ortalamalarıyla tamamladı.
Geçtiğimiz ay düzenlenen NBA Yaz Ligi’nde ise Nuggets formasıyla boy gösteren 1,96’lık Birleşik Amerikalı oyuncu, maç başına 12,0 sayı üretme başarısı gösterdi.
The #Nuggets are expected to sign summer league standout DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell to a two-way contract for the upcoming season. They also will add his summer league teammate Emanuel Terry to the training camp roster. With both, the Nuggets have 18 players on the roster into camp.
