As couple of days remained for the Spain 2014, Slovenian star Zoran Dragic made couple of statements to TrendBasket. The Slovenian NT will play their final exhibition game with USA. The team will be competing in Group D, against Lithuania, South Korea, Angola, Mexico and Australia. Here are the statements of Zoran;
- There are no easy opponents in our group, everyone is playing good basketball, especially, if you take the game with left hand. So we have to take everyone seriously in our group. Though, it is true that on the paper Lithuania and Australia are to be the hardest challenge.
- As far as our team is concerned we hope we are going to click together just about the right time.
- We have some new guys in the team but the main thing will be to shoot great, to play collective defense on the high level and to play the fast as we can after rebounds or interceptions.
- If our fighting spirit will be on the high level. We should rich the quarter finals and hopefully the semis.
- It is hard to talk about the favorites because anything can happen on any given night. The Spain and the USA are among the favorites but they will have to be very awake when it comes down to eliminations rounds. The fight for the bronze is very open there are at lest 8 teams counting for the medal and I believe we are among those.
